As the country with the second largest total final energy consumer in Southeast Asia, of which 54% of energy is used for industry, Vietnam needs to accelerate the implementation of energy efficient and clean technologies on a large scale in the industry. The adoption of innovative business models, capacity building initiatives and affordable financing mechanisms is arguably the breakthrough solution at the moment.

The conference “Paving the way forward for Implementation of Industrial Energy Efficiency in Vietnam” will bring together the perspectives of key stakeholders in the energy efficiency ecosystem in Vietnam’s industry, including regulators, consultants, financial institutions and development organizations, etc. This event will examine the challenges and find out breakthrough opportunities for the industrial energy efficiency market in Vietnam.

This conference is hosted by the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC), along with Partner for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G), Energy Efficiency Services Company (EESL) and Vietnam Energy Efficiency Network (EEN-Vietnam).
