EVNSPC: Paying over VND 2,860 billion for rooftop solar power to customers

 

Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) informed that it has paid the roof solar electricity bills for April 2021 to customers in 21 southern provinces and cities with the amount of VND 2,867 billion.

 

According to EVNSPC, in April 2021, the total output of rooftop solar power of customers in 21 southern provinces and cities generated to the national power grid reached 665 million kWh, accumulated in 4 months of 2021 reached 1 billion 984 million kWh.

From 2017 to December 2020, the total number of customers installed solar power (operating on the grid) was 54,201 customers with a total installed capacity of 5,606 MWp.

The Corporation also informed that by the end of April 2021, 66 solar power plants had been energized and put into operation with a total installed capacity of over 3,281 MWp in 09 provinces as Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Long An, An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ninh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Hau Giang, Vinh Long.

Power output received from solar power plants in April 2021 was 415.18 million kWh, down 10.65% compared to March 2021 but up 53.20% over the same period (271.00 million kWh) and accounts for 6.21% of the total electricity output received by the system (excluding self-produced electricity and solar energy from customers' roofs).

The total electricity output received from solar power plants - accumulated in the first 4 months of the year - was 1 billion 646.3 million kWh, accounting for 6.71% of the total electricity output received by the system.
