Status before implementation

The company was using:

  • 1 chain-grate dust coal-fired boiler with capacity of 2 tons of steam/h,
  • Average efficiency was 72%.

To meet the need of production output increase and factory relocation, instead of relocating the existing boiler to new location, the Company planned to procure a biomass fluidized bed boiler with capacity of 4 tons of steam/hour to ensure an adequate amount of steam for the production process and greenhouse gas emission elimination.

Result

The company has invested in:

  • 01 biomass fluidized bed boiler,
  • Average efficiency was 80%.

This helps the company reduce CO2 emission by 100% compared to the existing coal-fired boiler.
