Status before implementation

The hospital has used double and single T8 flourescent lamp system (about 1,800 lamp sets) with ferromagnetic ballast to illuminate the corridors and patient rooms.

In addition, the hospital utilizes a part of natural light to partially illuminate the areas (corridors or patient rooms with glass windows)

With flourescent lamps, the operating power is quite large while the efficiency of illuminating is not high. The hospital has been replacing the traditional damaged flourescent lamps with LEDs tubes.

Result

In 2020, the hospital has replaced 615 T8 flourescent bulbs (ferromagnetic ballast) with high-efficient LEDs.

With the replacement of LEDs, the energy consumption reduces,at the same time the brightness of the replaced areas achieved higher capacity than that of old flourescent lamps.
