Status before implementation

Bai Bang Paper Company is a state-owned enterprise producing pulp and paper products of all kinds.

Company and product image    

The Company's steam system includedthree boilers, in which:

- One (01) coal-fired boiler produced superheated steam with a pressure of 62 bar, temperature of 4500C and a steam generation capacity of 145t/h.

- One (01) boiler using the black liquor recovered from the pulp production technology, producing superheated steam with a pressure of 62 bar, temperature of 4500C and a steam generation capacity of 36t/h.

- One (01) biomass boiler producingsaturated steam with a steam pressure of 13 bar and a steam generation capacity of 20t/h.

Result

The coal-fired boiler wall area is left opened remarkably. In addition, since the boiler has not been equipped with an equipment to measure oxygen content in the flue gas of the main boiler, the oxygen content in the flue gas is relatively high of about 10%, and leads to the decrease of the boiler efficiency.

The company has implemented solutions to reduce the oxygen content of the flue gas by:

- Checking and repairing to seal off the opened areas of the boiler.

- Investing in an equipment to measure the oxygen content in the flue gas and a grade II system of automated air supply.
