BP39 - Improve lighting system

Project Summary: In response to an energy-efficiency program of Adidas brand, a garment enterprise in HCMC has made significant improvements to the lighting system to enhance energy efficiency. The goal of the project is to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.

Status before implementation

Brightness in the office area (1st floor) was very high, at over 700 lux meanwhile the brightness for computer-based typing is required at around 300 lux

 

The area of 3rd floor where sewing machines are located were not in use then, however, the lights in that area were turned on all day.

Result

The factory has made improvements to the lighting system to reduce power consumption such as cutting off the lights in the 1st floor office area, installing CBs for light lines to turn off unused areas on the 3rd floor.
