BP23 - Replace boiler by heat pump

Status before implementation

The hotel produced hot water by steam from 2 boilers (3 tons/hour, using DO oil). Hot water temperature was being set at 60°C. The amount of oil used for the boiler was estimated at 9,059 liters/2 weeks.

Result

The hotel has replaced the hot water system using boilers with a Heat pump system.

According to the measurement results, the electricity consumption of the Heat pump system is 166,800 kWh/year, with the operating cost of VND 454 million/year.
